County commissioners will be discussing advertising for qualifications and proposals to design and build the Douglas County Community & Senior Center, to be located across Waterloo Lane from Lampe Park. Under the design-build concept, each bidder must present plans and a price tag. The winning bidder will get to build the center, everyone else gets $30,000 for the work they put into their design. Commissioners will also be conducting County Manager Steve Mokrohisky’s evaluation. Commissioners meet starting at 1 p.m. at the Douglas County Administrative Building, 1616 8th St.
