Genoa Town Board members approved a five-year lease and an agreement to establish a sign along Highway 395 directing people to Nevada’s oldest town. A covered wagon will support the sign, which will be on the east side of Highway 395.
We’ll be following up on the discovery of bones in the north part of the Valley today. Just so people know, the discovery doesn’t necessarily have to be foul play. We’ve had a few instances in the past where Washoe buried in the old way have prompted similar investigations.
We’re continuing a 10-degree yo yo for the high temperature, with today hitting 53 and Friday due to go up to 62 degrees before the high drops and stays down in the 40s for a bit.
