The R-C Morning Report

A hearing on the Douglas County Public Lands Bill will go before county commissioners today for possible approval. Douglas County commissioners meet in Stateline starting at 1:30 p.m. today. The lands bill won’t be heard before 4 p.m., and depending on how the water rate hearing goes for the Tahoe systems, it may be a while after that.

The roads are showing clear of controls this morning in Western Nevada, but if there was black ice last night, it didn’t magically disappear overnight. Like Trooper Chuck says, if you see a wet spot on the road, it isn’t water.

It’s going to be clear and mostly sunny today with the high temperature climbing to 44 degrees. There’s not much in the way of wind today. Our next moisture looks like some rain on Saturday.
