We got turned around in Sunday’s edition on the liquor license hearings. The 7-Eleven cited for selling to minors was the one at Highway 395 and Riverview. We said it was the 7-Eleven at Highway 395 and Tillman, which fortunately does not exist, as there is no such intersection. We’ll have a correction running in the Wednesday edition.
A man accused of possession of heroin after he was arrested at the Walmart for taking DVDs is scheduled to appear in Douglas County District Court this morning on a count of possession of a controlled substance. Jordan Galloway, 18, is scheduled to appear before Judge Michael Gibbons this morning.
Welcome to the 66th day in Carson Valley without measurable precipitation. Today won’t be any exception with sunny skies and a high of 54 degrees. We’ve got a pulse coming through on Tuesday, but that’s just going to see the wind up a bit and a drop in the high temperature.
