There will be a lot of activity over the Pine Nuts today through Thursday as state and federal workers reseed the area burned in the Ray May fire.
Genoa Town Board members agreed to personally deliver a letter to La Ferme owner Gilles LaGourgue asking that his festival, Gilles Menagerie, remain part of the Candy Dance for another year. LaGourgue is requesting a separate festival permit for the weekend of Candy Dance.
Minden Town Board members will discuss a request to sponsor the Summer Concert Series for the summer of 2012 and two additional concerts in 2013 to the tune of $7,000. The Douglas County Recreation Department is also seeking a waiver of fees. The town board meets at 5:30 p.m. in the CVIC Hall. The action agenda starts at 6:30 p.m.
