The R-C Morning Report
October 6, 2011
If you haven’t already covered up your tomatoes, you might still have time. The low is forecast to dip below freezing tonight and Friday night as the storm clears. Tonight is forecast to hit 28 degrees, on Friday night 29 degrees. Expect a chance of scattered showers after 11 a.m. today as the storm moves off to the east. The high temperature today will be 49 degrees with northwest winds 5-15 mph.
Douglas County commissioners meet at 1 p.m. today to discuss water consolidation and put the final touches on the new ordinances governing dog breeders and barking dogs.
The commission meeting times out at just over two hours, which is actually pretty short. The water consolidation might expand on them, but this plan isn’t anything that should be that big a deal.
