Texas man arrested in child sex case
Douglas County investigators arrested a Texas man on Friday afternoon accused of two counts of sexual assault of a child.
Joseph Holder, 47, was taken into custody on a fugitive warrant.
Douglas detectives were contacted Friday morning by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office investigators and asked to locate and arrest Holder.
They had an address where Holder was staying in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
After watching the home, Douglas detectives saw Holder leave.
They followed him until 1:42 p.m. when they called for a marked car to conduct a traffic stop.
Holder is being held in Douglas County Jail without bail. Halsey did not release the address of the home where Holder was staying.
