A teen support group for middle and high school students who have been bullied or are struggling with depression meets 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the meeting room in the Douglas County Public Library in Minden.

The group, organized by Jessica Oleson, founder of Scarred Hearts In Need of Encouragement, plans to meet the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at the same location.

The meetings are open to middle school and high school students. The sessions are to be run by the students, but adult professionals will be on hand for referrals.

The group has a Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/ShineForTeens.
