The Tahoe-Douglas Bomb Squad responds to a suspicious package that was located near the parking lot of the Douglas County Judicail & Law Enforcement building late Monday afternoon.

A report of a suspicious package found in the parking lot of the Douglas County Judicial & Law Enforcement building led law enforcement officers to shut down Buckeye Lane for 90 minutes on Monday evening.

Deputies and firefighters responded to the report at 4:58 p.m., and closed Buckeye at Water and the entrance to Winhaven, as well as the parking lot.

The Tahoe-Douglas Bomb Squad responded to the scene and determined the package was actually a musical instrument. Buckeye Road was reopened at 6:30 p.m.
