Stateline PR firm brings home Silver Spikes
A Stateline public relations firm won two Silver Spike Awards from the Sierra Nevada chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Weidinger Public Relations received the chapter’s highest honor on behalf of The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe. The campaign was also voted “Best of Show: Programs, Overall Campaign” from among all winners. The firm also received a Bronze Spike for its digital influencer program for the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority during the Nov. 1 ceremony at the Silver Legacy in Reno
The firm designed a comprehensive media and public relations program to help establish and position Edgewood as a full-service luxury resort nationally and regionally. Media coverage for the Lodge, selected as the No. 1 Resort Hotel in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure readers, reached an audience of more than 581 million with placements in 26 percent of desired outlets as determined by the client, with an earned media value of $84 million.
