Stateline gaming win down 24.68 percent

Stateline gaming revenues took another big hit during December, dropping 24.68 percent compared to the same month in 2012, according to figures released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

The casinos raked in $15.78 million during the last month of 2013, down from $20.9 million in December 2012.

Stateline is the main source of gaming revenue for Douglas County.

East Fork and Carson City casinos were also down slightly to $7.7 million. That’s a 1.85 percent drop. In the first half of the fiscal year those casinos are just about dead even with last year. The Stateline casinos are down 2.23 percent.

The Silver State’s nonrestricted gambling licensees reported a total win of 1.03 billion during December, up 9.6 percent from December 2012. So far the state has seen a 4.4 percent increase in gaming win.
