Spaghetti feed raising money for Gardnerville residents

Friends of Gardnerville resident Liz Patton are gathering Sunday at Damascus Road Christian Assembly for a spaghetti feed to raise money.
Patton, a Douglas High School graduate, was diagnosed with a tumor in her jaw that has been causing seizures, according to her Facebook page.
She and her husband Chris, have been married for 16 years. Chris worked for Gardnerville Pool & Spa for 12 years, before buying the company in 2006. They closed their storefront in 2008, and moved their operations into their home.
Patton is a plebotomist at Carson Valley Medical Center.
The fundraiser is 4-7 p.m. at the church, located at 974 Tillman Lane. The meal is $10 for anyone 12 and older, children younger than 12 are $5.
Friend Lena Jones said the family doesn’t have medical insurance.
