The outage will affect Sierra Pacific customers from downtown Minden south to Markleeville, including the Gardnerville Ranchos, Autumn Hills, Centerville Lane and the Ruhenstroth and Country Club subdivisions, according to Bob Arigoni, operations manager for the utility’s Carson District.

The outage will last for 5 to 10 minutes while work is completed at the Pinenut Substation, which is located east of Highway 395 and south of the fairgrounds.
