Sierra Lutheran receives $10,000 grant
Sierra Lutheran High School recently received a $10,000 grant from the Wiebe Mission Advancement Fund to augment the school’s tuition assistance program.
The Wiebe Mission Advancement Fund, which was established in 1958 in memory of Lutheran philanthropists John and Harriet Wiebe, distributes funds according to the advancement and benefit of church ministries of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
“Sierra Lutheran High School is humbled by the generous grant from the Wiebe Foundation,” SLHS Executive Director Brian Underwood said. “The legacy left by John and Harriet Wiebe helps expand the number of opportunities for those seeking a top tier education.”
The Sierra Lutheran tuition assistance program provides need-based financial assistance for students who wish to attend SLHS.
