Sheriff’s Report: Drinking figures in several arrests over holiday
A Gardnerville Ranchos resident faces a charge of felony DUI after he was pulled over early Saturday morning.
Matthew McClintock, 25, was pulled over on Joette Drive after a deputy saw him weaving down the road in a Jeep Wrangler.
After failing a field sobriety test, McClintock took a breath test during booking that revealed he had a .153 blood alcohol content.
McClintock had previously been convicted of felony DUI in 2009, so deputies took a blood sample as well.
• A Gardnerville man was arrested early Sunday morning for battery on a police officer and an alternative sentencing violation after deputies responded to an altercation.
Addison Orr, 22, was taken into custody after he tried to evade deputies who responded to his home. According to the sheriff’s report, Orr tried to close a gate on one of the deputies and had to be wrestled to the ground to be handcuffed.
Orr was sentenced in July for driving under the influence and domestic battery.
• A Coleville, Calif., man was arrested for DUI on Monday night after he ran into some rocks in the parking lot of the Topaz Lodge parking lot.
Stacey Mastrian, 42, was taken into custody after he failed a field sobriety test.
A breathylizer test revealed he had a .149 blood alcohol content.
• A Gardnerville man was arrested Nov. 20 after a deputy pulled him over for crossing the center line on Tillman Lane and Manhattan Way.
John Peter Vigneault Jr., 28, was arrested near the intersection with Topaz Lane after a deputy reported seeing him cross into the oncoming lane of traffic at about 10 p.m.
Vigneault told the deputy he was changing the radio station when he pulled out of the lane. During a routine background check, the deputy learned there was a warrant out of Carson City for Vigneault.
Deputies also collected 1.7 grams marijuana and a pipe.
