The evening commute was snarled on Wednesday and Thursday by wrecks on Highway 395.

Two vehicles were involved in a collision 5 p.m. Wednesday after a northbound Jeep turning onto Genoa Lane was struck by a southbound Buick.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, both vehicles slid off the west side of the highway. A Jeep Cherokee struck a tire that came off one of the other vehicles.

A woman was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center.

No one was transported from the scene on Thursday, when a Subaru and a Ford SUV collided at the intersection with Muller Lane.

The wreck occurred at about 4:15 p.m.
