Rummage sale seeks to reach broader audience
Combining a large inventory and a varying audience Helping Hands Thrift Shop is hosting a rummage sale Friday and Saturday.
The store hosted a rummage sale in February to reiterate the partnership with Carson Valley United Methodist Church.
“We have a lot of things that we would like to move,” Helping Hands Manager Mary Marquez said. “When we have a rummage sale we attract a much different clientele. We’d like to try and reach out to everyone.”
Helping Hands hosts rummage sales at the church to allow for more shopping space.
The sale will be 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.
“We have been working very diligently to try and get new things into the store,” Marquez said. “Hopefully we can draw a big crowd and make some money so we can continue to give back to the community.”
