Riverview accident results non-life threatening injuries

The occupants of two pickups involved in a head-on collision near the intersection of Highway 395 and Riverview Drive on Sunday afternoon escaped with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident occurred at 1:37 p.m. and shut down the highway's southbound lanes for about an hour.
The accident involved a white, 2000 Ford Ranger driven by Michael Lightfoot, 38, of Gardnerville and a blue, 2011 Ford F-150 driven by a 17-year-old Gardnerville girl.
Two juveniles in the F-150 were taken to Carson Valley Medical Center as a result of the accident.
A phone box was damaged in the accident. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact the Nevada Highway Patrol at 775-688-2500 and refer to case No. 130413870.
