Reno man died in I-580 crash
A 59-year-old Reno man was identified as the motorcyclist who died during a crash on southbound I-580 in Carson City on Friday.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, troopers responded at 9:06 a.m. to I-580, just south of Highway 50 exit for a serious injury crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

The silver BMW motorcycle was traveling at highway speeds approaching the traffic, which was backed up because of freeway construction.
Proehl died at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes SUV received minor injuries and was treated on scene.
