Raiders offensive coach Mike Tice hands out shoes to Boys & Girls Club

Staff Reports

Oakland Raiders Offensive Line Coach Mike Tice passed out shoes on Friday to 100 members of the Gardnerville branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada.

The coach met the children at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School in the Gardnerville Ranchos.

"We've got plenty of shoes," Tice said.

Tice was accompanied by Raiders quarterback coach Todd Downing and running back coach Bernie Parmalee.

Tice participated in a charity golf event on Sunday, as well as a spaghetti dinner and Decades benefit concert at Carson Valley Inn and TJ's Corral, on Saturday.

This is the sixth year the event has been held at the Carson Valley Inn, and the first year the golf tournament has been open to the public to help raise funds for a dedicated Carson Valley Boys & Girls Club facility.
