R-C Morning Report for Aug. 9

Genoa, Nev. — A man who faces up to 40 months in prison is due to appear in Douglas County District Court today on a probation violation. Jordan Fraiser Schroeder, 23, was sentenced in January on charges stemming from a July 4 weekend party involving two underage girls.

The Corley Ranch is due to go before the Douglas County Planning Commission to divide the 286.16-acre property into two parcels, one with the conservation easement and the northern portion into receiving area. The Planning Commission meets 1 p.m. at the Douglas County Courthouse in Minden.
