Planners meet at community center today
Genoa, Nev. — Work to remove asbestos from the clerk-treasurer’s office at the historic Douglas County Courthouse has bumped today’s planning commission meeting to the Carson Valley Community & Senior Center.
The asbestos work began earlier this month and caused the clerks to be moved into the old courtroom where the planning commission typically meets.
Planning commissioners are scheduled to discuss a special use permit for the FISH Dining Room and Counseling Center on Mitch in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
The meeting is 1 p.m. in Room B, which is the first door on the left.
