Photo Club announces winners of composite competition
Carson Valley Photo Club’s August meeting featured guest speaker Neil Lockhart talking about composite digital artwork. Lockhart uses Adobe Photoshop exclusively and may work on a photo for up to four hours before adding detail to his finished project. His images can be seen at neillockhart.smugmug.com. Lockhart also judged the club’s photo contest, composites.
Entries had to submit their original work along with the finished piece. Jackie Gorton placed first with her photo title, “Here fishy, fishy, fishy,” Steven Davis placed second with his photo, “Competition,” and Diane Briggs placed third place with her photo, “Lunch?” They may be viewed at the Douglas County Public Library or on Facebook at Carson Valley Photo Club.
Visitors and photographers of all levels are invited to meetings 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday each month at the United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane. Information, call 782-0042 or visit them on Faceboook.
