PGA professional joins CVI staff
January 18, 2011
Greg Enholm, PGA, has joined the staff at Carson Valley Inn in an effort to tee up more business out of state.
Enholm will be responsible for developing new group and tournament golf business from out of the area, driving more people to stay at CVI and play at local golf courses.
“It ties in with everything else going on,” said CVI Marketing Director Bill Henderson. “We continue to have tentacles out there that make us grow.”
Enholm has been in the golf business for more than 16 years, 12 as a PGA professional. The last nine years he was at The Resort at Red Hawk in Sparks, where he was most recently director of golf. A six-year board member of the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Northern California Section of the PGA, Enholm serves as the chapter’s 2011 president. He was also a four-year golf letterman at New Mexico State University.
In addition to developing new business, Enholm will also be working with many of CVI’s golf groups, tournaments and casino customers with special clinics and other event assistance. He’ll be coordinating CVI-sponsored special golf events as well.
