Motorcyclist hurt in Genoa accident

A second injury accident occurred south of Genoa on Foothill Road at 2:30 p.m. Monday when a motorcyclist went off the road near the Genoa sandpits.

A 23-year-old Reno man was southbound on Foothill when he lost control of the 2003 Harley Davidson he was riding and left the road overturning in the dirt, throwing him from the motorcycle.

Peter James Angel was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno by Care Flight helicopter.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
