Missing Rite of Passage girl may be in Reno

A 17-year-old Winnemucca girl, who ran away from Rite of Passage on Oct. 6, is believed to be in the Reno-Sparks area.

Douglas County investigators have contacted the Center for Missing and Exploited Children in their search for 17-year-old Treasa Ramirez.

Ramirez was last seen in her bedroom at Rite of Passage. A short time after she was found to be missing, a bag was located with clothing believed to be what she was wearing.

Ramirez is 5-feet 6-inches tall, 130 pounds, brown eyes and black hair.
