Burdick Excavating Co. progress down the easement to the west of the houses on Lantana Drive is near completion.

Burdick will be constructing bore pits and working on the crossing of Highway 395 via a bore under the highway through this week and next.

After the bore pits are completed, Burdick will be diverting traffic at the intersection of Lucerne Drive and Highway 395. Both eastbound and westbound traffic on Lucerne is taking place on two lanes.

There may also be some periods when Lucerne will be closed.

Access to the businesses in Minden Village will continue through the next week.

Starting at Highway 395, the pipeline will be installed on the west side of Lucerne and cross over to the east side at the first break in the center divider to connect to the Lantana end. The pipeline will cross under Highway 395 and turn southwest to cross the vacant property east of Nevada State Bank and the A&H Building parking lot on its way to 10th Street.
