Man sought in theft at Riverview store

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a suspect in a theft at the Riverview 7-Eleven in Gardnerville.

Officers responded at 3:45 a.m. on May 2, where it was reported a white male entered the store and took a donation bucket from the counter containing an undisclosed amount of money. The subject entered a white vehicle and exited the area in an unknown direction.

The male is reported to be between 5-feet 9-inches and 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds, with short brown hair, a brown goatee, wearing dark colored pants, a gray T-shirt and gray shoes. A reward is being offered to anyone with information.
