A 49-year-old Gardnerville man pleaded guilty Monday to two felony charges for allegedly raping a 39-year-old woman while she lay in bed holding her 5-year-old daughter.
Louis Antonio Jacobo pleaded guilty to a felony charge of battery with intent to commit sexual assault and a felony charge of coercion with force or threat or force.
A sentencing hearing is set for Dec. 10.
Jacobo is accused of raping the Gardnerville woman July 21 after the victim let him in her home because she thought it was an emergency.
After entering her home, Jacobo allegedly told her he “wanted” her and wouldn’t leave. He then allegedly grabbed the victim, pushed her in a chair and assaulted her, court records say..
After the defendant allegedly stopped, the woman went to her 5-year-old daughter’s bedroom. The victim told deputies she thought Jacobo had left.
