Man injured in Highway 88 rollover

A 26-year-old man was helicoptered to Renown Medical Center after he was injured in a single vehicle rollover on Highway 88 south of Minden.

The Isuzu Rodeo the man was driving reportedly rolled three times at about noon Saturday before coming to rest on its side in a field east of the highway opposite Carson Valley Veterinary Clinic. The Rodeo has Nevada license plates.

East Fork medics responded to the accident and found that the man had extracted himself from the vehicle. He suffered from a cut to the head.

A landing zone was established at Douglas High School where Care Flight ambulance helicopter picked him up.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
