Little library open in Genoa
Genoa has installed a Little Free Library between the Country Store and the Dancing Deer in town.
Organizer Tracey DeJong said the space was donated by Connie and Dave Roth, and that it was built by residents Bill Hutchison and Geoff DeRuntz.
“I added some colorful touches, and my husband Jimmy and friend, Jeff Davis, installed it,” she said. “A friend donated her kid’s collection of great books to get it started.”
Readers may take whatever book they like and return it when they’re done.
DeJong said books that won’t fit in the library may be donated at the Dancing Deer. They will be rotated in the library as space allows.
The library is built to withstand the weather.
