Kingsbury woman named Minden bank manager
Longtime Western Nevada banker Ursula Prebezac has been named manager of City National Bank’s Minden branch.
Prebezac, a Kingsbury resident, takes over for Jeri Johnson who took a new position with City National in Minneapolis, Min.
Prebezac has nearly 35 years of experience in the banking industry.
In her new capacity, Prebezac will be responsible for all branch sales and servicing related responsibilities, as well as managing a staff of three colleagues at the Minden banking office located at 1647 Highway 395. She will report to Lori Haney, senior vice president and Northern Nevada group manager for City National. Prebezac will network through various civic and trade organizations to generate new business opportunities and to promote City National. She will also work very closely with other areas of the bank, such as Commercial and Private Banking, to enhance existing relationships and develop new business opportunities.
“Ursula is a seasoned banking professional who has been with City National and its predecessor, Business Bank of Nevada, for more than 15 years,” said City National Northern Nevada Group Manager Lori Haney.
Prior to joining City National nearly 15 years ago, Prebezac served as a commercial lending officer and area president of Colonial Bank in Carson City and Stateline. During her banking career, she has also worked for Nevada Banking Company where she served as senior vice president and loan administrator. Prebezac has worked her entire banking career in Northern Nevada.
Prebezac serves as a member of the Minden Rotary, and is a member and past president of the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce. Prebezac is a former member of CASA of Douglas County, Soroptimists International, and Tahoe Douglas Chamber of Commerce.
