Serving as president for 2011 is Douglas County Commissioner Doug Johnson. President-elect is Mineral County Commissioner Jerrie Tipton. Esmeralda County Commissioner Nancy Boland will serve as vice president.

After taking the oath of office, Johnson said the association would face many challenges this year including the upcoming legislative session and pledged to work hard to help NACO meet these challenges.
