James Hush found dead in Stateline home

A Stateline man was found dead on Tuesday night of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

James Michael Hush, 63, was discovered in an upstairs bedroom of a home in the 700 block of Milky Way Court, after deputies responded to a report of a gunshot at about 9:25 p.m.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case, and is not releasing any additional details at this time, Sgt. Pat Brooks said Wednesday.
