Jail until treatment for Carson man
A man who violated his probation after only two days will be required to remain in jail until he can participate in a long-term treatment program.
Jordan M. Galloway, 18, was sentenced to drug court on Feb. 27 and arrested on Feb. 29, just two days later, for failing a drug test.
“It’s not the first time someone on a program has failed,” said his attorney Joseph Gilbert. “He’s got the wrong people around him. There are a couple of burglaries in Carson City. There’s just stuff springing up everywhere.”
Galloway and Elizabeth Santillanez were arrested on Nov. 20 at the Topsy Lane Walmart for shoplifting.
