Slick conditions on Friday morning caused dozens of wrecks across Western Nevada, including at least one in Carson Valley.

Light snow earlier in the morning left roads icy.

A Toyota pickup slid through a fence at Centerville Lane and Highway 88 at about 6:45 a.m. Friday.

The driver wasn’t injured, but the pickup had to be towed out of the field.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, troopers were handling as many as 39 calls in Western Nevada at 8:10 a.m. Friday

Most of those calls were for spinouts, but some were more serious.
