Gregory unopposed in district judge’s race
No challenger stepped forward to oppose Douglas County District Judge Tom Gregory, ensuring he’ll have another four years on the bench.
Gregory, a Genoa resident, was appointed by Gov. Brian Sandoval last spring to replace District Judge Michael Gibbons.
Gibbons was appointed to Nevada’s new appeals court. He faces statewide election this year.
Gregory must run again in 2020, along with District Judge Tod Young and East Fork Justice of the Peace Tom Perkins.
Filing ended 5 p.m. Friday.
