Grand jury indicts King Fire suspect

A Pollock Pines man faces a Jan. 23 hearing after he was indicted by an El Dorado County Grand Jury, District Attorney Vern Pierson announced.
Wayne Allen Huntsman, 37, is accused of arson of forest land, a felony, and with multiple special allegations of arson with aggravating factors.
The indictment also contains four special allegations claiming the fire caused “great bodily injury” to multiple victims including a firefighter.
Huntsman’s bail remains at $10 million.
The King Fire started Sept. 13 near Pollock Pines and burned almost 98,000 acres, 12 homes and 68 other structures.
