Gardnerville man elected to national organization

Staff Reports

Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club No. 85 member Tommy Lovell has been elected the National President-Elect of Active 20-30 U.S. and Canada.

Lovell, a Gardnerville resident, was elected Saturday at the Active 20-30 National Convention that took place in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Next July, Lovell will be installed as the national president at the 2017 Convention in Eugene, Ore.

Lovell is only the second member of Carson Valley No. 85 to be elected to this position after Nick Grant, who was national president during the 2001-02 term.

Lovell’s election showcases Carson Valley No. 85’s goal to serve the underprivileged youth in the Carson Valley while developing leadership in young men.
