Two firefighters were injured while fighting a house fire this morning at 4295 Kyle Drive in Topaz Ranch Estates.
One firefighter suffered smoke inhalation and another from heat prostration. Both were taken to Carson Valley Medical Center where they were treated and released, according to East Fork Fire Capt. Terry Taylor.
The fire broke out at about 10:30 a.m. with smoke spotted in the first and second floors and the attic.
Flames erupted as firefighters made entry, extending to wildland around the home.

The owners of the house were not home when the blaze broke out.
