Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Explorers worked at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am from Feb. 8-11.
Their duties included pedestrian and vehicle traffic control, parking and security bag checks.
“They worked long, hard hours and represented Douglas County and the sheriff’s office with professionalism and pride,” said Deputy Teresa Duffy, youth services officer.
“We are very proud of their dedication and hard work,” she said.
The Explorers also had a chance to see celebrities and had photos taken with actors Anthony Anderson and Josh Duhamel and comedian George Lopez.
They also saw professional golfers including Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
