Bail is $3,000 for a 42-year-old Holbrook man accused by his ex-girlfriend of battery with a deadly weapon and failure to stop at the scene of an accident involving injury.
Neil Dettorre was arrested Tuesday at a traffic stop.
He told East Fork Justice Tom Perkins on Wednesday he wasn’t aware of the warrants, and the alleged victim was lying.
Perkins appointed lawyer Tod Young to represent Dettorre and set his next court appearance for Oct. 19. According to reports, the incident occurred July 31.
The 50-year-old woman said Dettorre was driving a Ford Ranger and grazed her when he ran into a tool cart at her residence.
She said the vehicle struck her in the left thigh and knocked her down. The alleged victim said Dettorre fled the scene.
