Early voting begins Oct. 21

Douglas County registered vresidents can take advantage of early voting between Saturday, Oct. 21 and Friday, Nov. 3.

Early voting allows people to vote on all candidates and issues before election day, Tuesday, Nov. 7.

– At the Douglas County clerk’s office at the Minden Inn at 1594 Esmeralda Ave., any registered voters can cast ballots between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, Monday, Oct. 23 through Thursday, Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On Nevada Day, Friday, Oct. 27, voting booths will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, voting booths will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 30 through Friday, Nov. 3, voting will go on between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

– At the Lake Tahoe administration building, 175 Highway 50, Stateline, voting will start Saturday, Oct. 21, and be available Saturday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily for voters from precincts 35 through 41. On Wednesday, Nov. 1, voters can come in between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

– At the Topaz Ranch Estates Park Building on Carter Way, voters from precincts 10 and 24 can vote Saturday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 28 between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

– At the Johnson Lane Fire Department, 1450 Stephanie Lane, voters from precincts 6, 11, 13, 15, 21, 22, and 23 can vote Thursday, Oct. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m.

n Voters from precincts 6, 11, 13, 15, 21, 22, and 23 can vote at the Ridgeview Estates Fire Department, 3463 Princeton Road Thursday, Nov. 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
