Dustin Tremaine joins the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office

Dustin Tremaine joined the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy sheriff on July 31. Tremaine grew up in the Carson Valley and graduated from Douglas High School in 2006. Following his high school graduation Dustin attended Western Nevada College and earned an associate’s degree in marketing. He has been employed as a firefighter by the Nevada Division of Forestry since 2015. He also works as a seasonal firefighter and on ski patrol at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort.
