Driver in Chichester accident arrested
The driver of a bronze Lexus sport utility vehicle was taken into custody after a three-vehicle accident on Chichester Drive.
The accident occurred at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and involved a parked Chevrolet pickup and a Subaru.
The force of the collision allegedly knocked the pickup three houses down into the front of the Subaru. The accident blocked Chichester for at least 45 minutes.
According to report from the sheriff’s office, the driver of the vehicle, Kathy Donahue, 64, underwent a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.
The accident was cleared by around 3 p.m.
The Lexus was similar to a vehicle reported earler today heading westbound on Gilman Avenue out of Chichester Estates.
That report came in at 10:57 a.m. The reporting party said a Lexus sport utility vehicle passed two cars at about 45 mph, nearly hitting the median near Heritage Park.
