Drinkwine judges art show

Greg Drinkwine has been chosen to judge the sixth annual Scholarship Benefit Art Show at CVIC Hall in Minden from Nov. 9 through 11. Drinkwine is a professional fine artist and owner of Goldenwest Frames, a national handcrafted frame company on Esmeralda Street in Minden.
Drinkwine has an international background having studied at the Art Student’s League in New York, Loveland Academy in Colorado and the Ecole Albert Defois in France.
He is a life member of the Oil Painters of America and the Art Student’s League of New York. He exhibits nationally.
He has won many prestigious awards and is a judge of true quality for the fine art show coming up.

Prizes will be $100 for first place, $75 for second and $50 for third, plus ribbons. There will be six honorable mentions and a people’s choice award.

Show times are Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
An artists’ reception will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., and there will be a raffle on Sunday at 3 p.m.
