The Nevada Court of Appeals will convene in Las Vegas at the Regional Justice Center 10 a.m. Wednesday to hear oral arguments in four cases that originated from Clark County.

The first case, Michaels vs. Pentair Water Pool and Spa, Inc. (59685), is an appeal from a jury verdict in a products-liability action in favor of the manufacturer.

The second case, Sanders vs. Sears-Page (62792), is an appeal from a defense verdict in a traffic accident and personal injury action.

The third case, Gonzales (Noel) vs. State (64539), is an appeal from convictions after jury trial for robbery with use of deadly weapon, first-degree kidnapping with use of deadly weapon, burglary and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Finally, the fourth case, Guitron (Miguel) vs. State (64215), is an appeal from a judgment of conviction pursuant to a jury verdict of Incest, Sexual Assault upon a Minor under age 14 and Lewdness with a Minor under age 14.

This is the first time the Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments since Question 1 was approved by voters in November 2014 and Judges Michael Gibbons, Jerome Tao and Abbi Silver were sworn-in on Jan. 5.

The court will hear each case separately with arguments scheduled for 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
