Classic cars on display at gallery
November 6, 2016
Members of the Main Street Gardnerville Design Committee has gathered a collection of photographs from local artists for display on its Sidewalk Gallery.
"This current display at the Sidewalk Gallery showcases some of the most incredible pictures of classic cars along with the drivers and their navigators from the Great Race event in June," Main Street Gardnerville Director Paula Lochridge said.
The actual event was a culmination of months of efforts to host the Great Race participants and local car enthusiasts.
"The photographers, Brad Coman, David Jobe, Paul Leary, Roger Van Alyne, and Tommy Walters, donated their time and talents to capture the beauty of these cars," Lochridge said. "The public now has an opportunity to enjoy them once again in photos and long after the race has ended."
The Sidewalk Gallery, at 1424 Hwy 395 N, has featured numerous displays of local talent in the form of photos and artwork.
All photos currently on display are available for purchase directly from the photographers. Contact information is available on a poster inside the corner door window or online at http://www.MainStreetGardnerville.org.
