Child ID event set for Saturday
January 26, 2011
Michael Hohl Honda will host a child identification event 10 a.m. to 4 p.m Saturday with Managing Information on Lost Kids, a collaboration with Farmers Insurance and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Parents who attend the event are able to acquire digital identification for their children, and provide current images and detailed characteristics to over 17,000 police stations nation-wide, should their child go missing.
“We’re proud to again participate along with Farmers Insurance, in this very important cause,” said Matthew Hohl, General Manager of Michael Hohl Honda. “We need to continue to develop programs to protect our children and this is a must for all families.”
The event will provide residents with the opportunity to enroll in the digital program to protect lost children and educate parents nationwide. The event will include a demonstration and display by the Carson City Sherriff’s Office and D.A.R.E. units.
