Carson Valley Medical Center offers massages for procedure patients
October 2, 2015
October is breast cancer awareness month and Carson Valley Medical Center is encouraging women to not only screen themselves for breast cancer, but to also pamper themselves.
Carson Valley Medical Center will be recognizing breast cancer awareness month by offering $50 mammograms on select dates.
Screening mammograms followed by a chair massage will be offered 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 10 and Oct. 24.
Registration is now open at http://www.cvmchospital.org/mammo.
This is a public service offered by Carson Valley Medical Center to encourage women to get screened for early detection of breast cancer.
The American Cancer Society recommends that women age 40 and older should have a mammogram every year and should continue to do so for as long as they are in good health.
